He has been and is being involved in more than 10 research projects. He is currently the PI for 2 research projects.  

  • Observations of the surface albedo for different land covers, supported by the NSF of China, 2007-2009;
  • Development of dropsonde system based on long duration stratospheric balloon , supported by the CAS, 2006-2009;
  • Study of the stratosphere-troposphere exchange processes, supported by the NSF of China, 2009-2012
  • Adaptive observation technique and data quality controls for networked x-band weather radar system; supported by the MOST and CMA;
  • Observational study of shallow convective clouds over Inner Mongolian Plateau, supported by the NSF of China, 2013-2016.
