Focusing on the high-impact weather, including heavy rainfall systems, convective weather systems and dust storm weather:  

  • The mechanism of mesosacle convective systems: including heavy rainstorm, snowstorm, squall line and interaction between multi-scale systems in Asian monsoon area;   
  • Numerical prediction and modeling: including the development and improvement of the mesoscale numerical prediction models and various physical process parameterization
